         My Results

Your score puts you in the mature category of social reasoning and the majority of people will have scores in this range. Thinking here transcends the practicalities of one's preferences and exchanges to an emphasis upon social feeling, caring and conduct. You take into account the consequences of actions for other people, whether for benefit or harm, as a consideration in its own right for deciding how one should act towards others. You emphasise relationships, thinking how you might feel if you were on the receiving end. Empathy is important, as well as compassion. You are likely to expect others to conform to normally expected conduct, reflecting on "common decency" and will think of the chaos caused by laws being broken. You will value, love and respect others, and appreciate some higher values, as well as speaking of the benefits of a clean conscience or pride. Background Scores on the questionnaire form a scale that tracks the development of reasoning from childhood through to adulthood about social, ethical and moral issues. Most children make decisions based on the influence of power and authority figures, progressing through an emphasis upon exchange relationships with others, then on to mutual and social expectations. Some people progress to a level where they base their moral reasoning on universal values. Others become fixed at earlier stages depending upon circumstances. But recent research has suggested that it is possible to change the way you reason about your social responsibilities.

Career Choice

This questionnaire is designed to get you thinking about the sort of jobs that might suit your style. Six main types of person: Realistic, Conventional, Social, Enterprising, Artistic and Investigative. Knowing the types you most (and least) fit can help you think about the types of role that may suit you.

Read below to find out what careers you seem to be suited to based on your results in the test:

Investigative: Your results suggest that Investigative type work might suit your interests and preferences. Investigative types prefer thinking to action, they like working with information and may prefer working with ideas rather than with people. They tend to like jobs in which they can research, analyse and solve problems (or come up with new problems!) and prefer using their brains to their interpersonal skills. Typical roles that suit Investigative types are scientist, engineer, laboratory worker, computer programmer, pharmacist and vet.

Social: Your results suggest that Social type work might suit your interests and preferences. Social types like roles that focus on helping, teaching or supporting others and very much prefer working with people to working with things or ideas. They tend to prefer working in teams and like to feel they are doing something useful. Typical roles for social types include teacher, counsellor, nurse, minister of religion, clinical psychologist or police officer.

Enterprising:  Your results suggest that Enterprising type work is less likely to suit your interests. Enterprising types like persuading and influencing people as well as controlling, managing and selling to them. They like to take a lead and are often quite motivated and ambitious but may be impatient and can find rules and detail frustrating. They tend to favour roles such as salesperson, manager, estate agent, supervisor, lawyer, advertising or marketing executive and often like positions that have status and prestige.

Artistic: Your results suggest that Artistic type work is less likely to suit your interests. Artistic types are interested in creativity and art, preferring freedom and independence to following rules and procedures. Self-expression is very important to Artistic types and they may prefer to work alone. Typical roles for Artistic types include artist, singer, designer, photographer, musician, writer and actor.

Realistic: Your results suggest that Realistic type work is less likely to suit your interests. Realistic types generally prefer action to words, they like physical activity and may prefer working with things to working with people. They tend to favour jobs where they can work with their hands or produce things, and often like outdoor work. Typical roles that suit Realistic types are gardener, mechanic, driver, electrician, farmer, sportsperson, skilled trades, labourers and some engineering and military roles.

This brief questionnaire can't tell you exactly what you should do. It only suggests work areas to think about that may match the way you like to work but it can't tell you whether you have the skills and qualifications for these jobs. To take things further you should consult your local careers service or your local library.

Spot The Fake Smile

You got 16 out of 20 correct ,Most people are surprisingly bad at spotting fake smiles. One possible explanation for this is that it may be easier for people to get along if they don't always know what others are really feeling. Although fake smiles often look very similar to genuine smiles, they are actually slightly different, because they are brought about by different muscles, which are controlled by different parts of the brain. Fake smiles can be performed at will, because the brain signals that create them come from the conscious part of the brain and prompt the zygomaticus major muscles in the cheeks to contract. These are the muscles that pull the corners of the mouth outwards. Genuine smiles, on the other hand, are generated by the unconscious brain, so are automatic. When people feel pleasure, signals pass through the part of the brain that processes emotion. As well as making the mouth muscles move, the muscles that raise the cheeks – the orbicularis oculi and the pars orbitalis – also contract, making the eyes crease up, and the eyebrows dip slightly. Lines around the eyes do sometimes appear in intense fake smiles, and the cheeks may bunch up, making it look as if the eyes are contracting and the smile is genuine. But there are a few key signs that distinguish these smiles from real ones. For example, when a smile is genuine, the eye cover fold – the fleshy part of the eye between the eyebrow and the eyelid – moves downwards and the end of the eyebrows dip slightly.

Your answers suggest you are a Supervisor

The four aspects that make up this personality type are:

Planner, Facts, Heads and Extrovert

Summary of Supervisors

  • Bring order to their home and work life
  • Like to act on clear, achievable goals
  • Think of themselves as stable, practical and sociable
  • May be irritated when people don't follow procedures

More about Supervisors

Supervisors like to make plans, organise people and get things done efficiently. They are natural administrators who dislike chaos and strive to bring order to every aspect of their lives. Supervisors like jobs where the goals are clearly defined and there are proven work methods in place.

Supervisors are most likely to say they prefer a job which involves a series of separate projects, according to a UK survey.

Supervisors use logic to solve problems and believe in being open and direct in their communications with others. They prefer to work and socialise with like-minded people.

In situations where they can't use their talents or are unappreciated, Supervisors may reject the opinions of others and insist they are right. Under extreme stress, Supervisors may feel cut off from the people around them and lose confidence in their own ability to cope.

Because they like to take charge and organise activities, others may find Supervisors too bossy.

Supervisor Careers

Supervisors are often drawn to jobs in management or administration that require logical planning.

It's important to remember that no survey can predict personality type with 100 percent accuracy. Experts say that we should use personality type to better understand ourselves and others, but shouldn't feel restricted by our results.

Power Of Will

May 12, 2006

If dey wil dey wil. Its wel said dat unles u hav a wil power of waves to submerge a mountain in da sea u cant achieve anything gr8. Da strength of wil  changes wid da time. Sum times even to do small things v need lot of pushing. Dre r lot of things dat come in between, sum coin dem as boredom, time constraint, laziness n da list differs frm person to person as dey search dier own reasons but for me dre's only 1 valid reason dat is "Lack Of Wil", not at da time I decide to do things but at da time I had to do things. V forget several things in life, its human nature, same is da case wid Wil. At da time v decide sumthing v hav al da things dat motivate us to do so but ven  time comes v wont be in da same frame of mind. One gud method to keep da wil is to maintain a personal dairy to keep track of things. By constant monitoring of dairy v can get bak to our thots n it also helps in knowing ourselves. Same may not da case wid every1, if u say u hav da tremendous wil("If I wil I wil drink da ocean") den u need not be reminded of da motive to do things, da will will take care.

Interest is 1 thing dat motivates to do certain things(no need to tell a teenager to waste time in watching movis n spend time wid frns!) but v had to do things in life dat interests others also(whc r uninteresting to us). My advice is dont commit yourself to such things, do it for others sake only if it is of short span.

Every1 gets bored sumtime or other. Its gud to take a break but dat shld not be a brake. V turn to several things to refresh but v must hav da thot in mind to get bak to da stuff. Never start a thing u cant stop(watching TV..). In most of da cases, boredom is da state ven v start feeling uninterested in da stuff, it doesnt mean dat our mind is overloaded, if v can create interest v can continue vid da stuff.

I'm really gettin bored by writing dis stuff n like 2 take a break……..

My 1st post…

May 11, 2006

Dre r bad movis, dre r disastras movis BANGARAM is no < dan dem. Da movi has got a tamil tach n dis made it unwachable. It has a child abuse scene in the movi, whc feared ppl as if dey r waching a horror movi. No hit elements in da movi. I felt strange abt 3 things in the movi, 1 is vidhya sagar's music, he gav v gud muzic 2 sum movis & xpected da same in dis case 2, the 2nd thing is weak story line, how da hero frm such a stage turned back n left everything for the sake of a stranger, dharani shld hav sressed at this point more n also abt not giving due image to the hero n also abt keeping the title song in 2nd half and the 3rd thing is the fights in movi r not upto the current mark of peter haynes style, if we watch the fights dey resemble to a fights of a movi 2 or 3 yrs bak. Cuming 2 the notable things in movi, 3 things i liked r, the comedy track which filled da 1st half gav sum cumfort(atleast for comedy lovers like me), the villan made a gud act, the cute little gal whc acted as heroine's sis is a real cutie, she is really gud dan meera chopra(dont take me the other way).

dhanks god i had finished my 1st post by now after watching da movi on 1st day release…..this is really bad dan da movi isnt it..
